HOW I GOT HERE:

From Piano to Bass, from Concert bands to Jazz bands, to being firmly entrenched in the Blues and beyond. It's been a journey of discovery, self discovery, life-long friends and absolute legends.....and it's all just started!!

MAJOR BASS INFLUENCES:

I have to make a bit of a disclaimer here and emphasize influence....for me growing up it was Roger Waters. I put it down to that tone, the space he managed to fill and leave, and too much time in my room listening to amazing songs. To this day I still attribute my setup and lack of effects based on how bloody good a Bass sounds.

MAJOR BASS GROOVE INFLUENCES:

I can't really narrow this down (unless you want an audio book), so I'm going to mention two and save everyone some time.

First off...Bryan Bellar (The Aristocrats, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, etc) absolute favourite of mine, the best playing with the best.

Second....Victor Wooten, introduced me to solo bass playing and still blows my mind.
